One thing that really pisses me off lately is the behaviour of pedestrians here in Romania. Even in my home town, the small Satu Mare. Pedestrians today think they can walk anywhere they want, cross the street whenever they want. Just in the last 100 hours I almost ran by car into three people. Three people almost put me into jail!!! Once, there was the Sun blocking most of my front view, and a guy was playing with his life crossing the street, and on ice. Others just walk on red lights, after waiting 3 minutes for green, which doesn't come; guess what colour cars get just when they start crossing???
Boy this stuff pisses me off; I'll have to reconsider my own behaviour as a pedestrian. It's just waay to risky with all the crazy drivers out there! I am rarely a risky driver, and all these situations happened when I was playing the perfect driver.
I think the State and the Police need to start some activities to prevent accidents caused by pedestrians: smart media campaigns, school campaigns, police should start watching for immoral pedestrians and fine them (they stopped doing this for 15 years now!!) a.s.o. Otherwise, we'll have the same traffic Egypt has and more dead people, and innocent drivers behind bars.
